Founder: Swiss American Express LTD. was founded by Charles Unternahrer in 1982, Mr. Unternahrer is a well known and well respected as an international businessman specializing in import, export, manufacturing, marketing and distribution of many Swiss and American made products. Born and raised in the small town of Romoos, Switzerland just outside Luzerne. He is intimately familiar with the heritage and access to such high quality Swiss products. He moved to the United States in 1953 in pursuit of engineering and development of the ski industry as well as the products and services that support it. Now living in Aspen Colorado Mr Unternahrer skis 100 days a year working on research and development while tracking the latest trends.
